Don't forget to join us on Facebook to stay informed and meet more
of your neighbors!
Tired of looking at overgrown weeds at the Robinson Rd / Hadley
Ave traffic light by the ballfield?
You're
not alone. The Historic Old Hickory Village Neighborhood Association (us), has been trying to maintain them for quite
sometime, but at times we have let you down. I know, it sounds so simple, "Spray it, weed it, mulch it, repeat..."
Which is why we turn to our community.
We want to make
Historic Old Hickory Village look its best and we need your help! Whether it's 5 minutes while you're walking by, or
an hour on a lazy Sunday afternoon - let's all pitch in and help make the entrance to our neighborhood something to be proud
of.
A discussion has been started on our (and soon to
be your, if not already) Facebook group. There you can help us setup times and
groups to get together and help keep the triangles (or other necessary places) weed and trash free.
Shirts, Mugs & More:
Interested in
a Historic Old Hickory Village coffee mug, hat, or t-shirt? What about a book with Historical information about the
Village as well as original floorplans? Those items are now available at Shipman's Frame Shop. Shipman's has relocated
to inside of Phoenix Flea Market, (the big red and yellow building across from Sonic on Robinson Road in Old Hickory).
Stop in and pick up some Old Hickory Village attire and see what else Shipman's and Phoenix has to offer while you're there.
More info is on our "Store" page.

Interested in a 2010 calendar benefiting the Village's Community Garden? The beautiful images for each month
are of our very own garden and were taken by Mary Crow and Laura Gore. One could be yours for a donation of at least $18 to
the community garden. Find out more info here.
